[00:00:00] Hello. That's not it, so depressed. It has been a day.
[00:00:11] Welcome to the Incoherent Fangirl. Where we don't have two interviews this week,
[00:00:16] but we have three guests. That is some epic math on our part, I'm just saying. Did you
[00:00:21] see how I did that so fast? That was very good. I'm very proud of this. I am Karin
[00:00:27] from Mithria. I'm Mandy of Oryth. I hope I said that correctly. That's how I would have pronounced it.
[00:00:33] That's what I pronounced it when I was reading. Alright, that's my thought. So, find out.
[00:00:41] Okay friends, in our timeline, it is September 4th. Yes, that is a Wednesday. Shock and surprise. Oh no.
[00:00:49] And in y'all's timeline it is September 13th, Friday the 13th. Oh my gosh,
[00:00:54] I didn't realize that until right now. Perfect spooky season. Very excited. This week in
[00:01:06] fangirling, what'd you do? It's been a few weeks since we've done this. So this several weeks in
[00:01:11] fangirling, eh? Yeah, I just did this week. Yeah. So I guess first I did a home improvement project
[00:01:18] and I only had one nervous breakdown. That's a record. I know. I have had like doom piles of
[00:01:26] books and no shelves to put them on. And so this weekend I hung some more shelves and at first I got
[00:01:32] the wrong size brackets for no reason. Then I hit metal in the middle of the wall for no reason
[00:01:39] and broke a drill bit. Put lots of holes in the walls that I had to patch and I'm gonna have to
[00:01:44] paint over. But the shelves are hung. Yay! And there's books on them and there's no more doom
[00:01:50] piles of books. That is exciting and I'm currently picturing your library and trying to figure out
[00:01:56] where you put them on that little puppy wall. I see, I see, I see. Okay. Yeah, they used to be like
[00:02:02] movie light boxes over there now. It's shelves. Yay shelves! I was like thinking about like wait
[00:02:09] a minute aren't there shelves on every wall? No, there weren't. Eventually. Eventually.
[00:02:15] Very slowly. Yeah. They were going up the ceiling to sickness.
[00:02:20] Then I finished my throne of glass reread. I'm so bereft. I'm sad. I miss the family.
[00:02:29] That's literally my notes is I miss everyone because I do. I'm so sad that I really am
[00:02:35] considering just starting over again because like I can't, I can't be without them. I feel
[00:02:41] like yeah, I can't wait for you to read it. You're just gonna, yeah. Anyways. I just realized that
[00:02:46] your shelves are like completely rearranged. Yeah. Cause I was, I was like, I was like Serpent and
[00:02:53] Dove used to be there. I know that because I had to look away from it every time. And now I'm
[00:02:59] like wait a minute. Yeah. Don't get used to it because the twins are mad because they said
[00:03:04] that these guys are the main character of the shelf and they're usually dead center.
[00:03:08] But because I rearranged everything with the new shelves, they got moved and they're unhappy.
[00:03:14] So I'm trying to figure out how to make everybody happy. Oh man. Because they were like,
[00:03:20] look at them. How are they not the main character? That's fair though. Shatter me is right there.
[00:03:25] I know. And they're gorgeous. I'm framed by Shatter me and throne of glass. I mean,
[00:03:31] what could be better? I'm just gonna cover Crescent City and pretend like most of it
[00:03:34] doesn't happen. Most of it's not that, that last book isn't there. It doesn't exist. Yeah. That's
[00:03:42] then my besties at Libro FM, Libro dot FM. I don't know. They're my besties though.
[00:03:50] September is here. So they had the new month of ALCs and one of them was you can't have it all
[00:03:55] by Saucy Schroeder Clark who I love from the Interpump Rules. I loved her for a long time.
[00:04:00] It's her third book. So I was like, all right, I'm gonna listen to her book. It's
[00:04:03] basically the anti girl boss book that tells you like, you don't have to do everything. You don't
[00:04:10] have to be at all for everybody all of the time. You can just let things go. Oh, so she's talking
[00:04:17] to the eldest daughters? Yes. She's an eldest daughter. She's talking to the moms. Feeling
[00:04:22] it after now. She talks about this one party she went to with a like a kids party with like
[00:04:27] some like cast members from the show and like friends of theirs. And one of them was like
[00:04:32] scraping the icing off of her daughter's birthday cake. And she was like, meanwhile,
[00:04:35] my kid was on like her second full slice of cake. And she's like, I probably should have gone like
[00:04:40] low sugar, no sugar because she's a toddler. She was like, but my child is well taken care of.
[00:04:45] It's okay if she eats some cake every now and then she doesn't eat at every meal. And
[00:04:48] it's okay that she hates broccoli. It's not the end of the world. And just like things
[00:04:53] like that where like people of all women, especially of all areas of life could use it
[00:05:00] and use hearing it. I've been trying to get through phantasma. I haven't really had a lot of time
[00:05:04] in the reading department this week been doing audiobooks, but we've already talked about it.
[00:05:09] So you are you and Kaylee already told us everything. It's it's white haired,
[00:05:13] July Ben Barnes. That's all you need to know. Right? That's all that's all I have.
[00:05:17] Right? I love by the way. I'm not wrong, right?
[00:05:21] I love you so you're not I love you so much by the way because you text me to tell me
[00:05:26] that Ben Barnes was in the Punisher. I completely forgot. It's been years. I was editing and we were
[00:05:34] talking about Ben Barnes and Kaylee was talking about how like she missed all of like Narnia.
[00:05:40] And then in my brain, I was like, I'm sure I've seen him in something and I just could not
[00:05:44] figure it out because I have the memory of Dory. So I went to Wikipedia and I'm like,
[00:05:49] oh, that's what I've seen him in. I don't remember him in that. I don't remember the
[00:05:53] show at all. But that's that's yeah. When you when I text you back, I was like my husband and my
[00:05:59] brother are both like when I see his face, all I can think about is it getting like it's drug
[00:06:04] through they drag his face through broken glass. Literally. And he's like, that's all I see.
[00:06:09] Literally. My brother is like, I will hate that man forever for that character.
[00:06:13] Just like the fake Captain America. Yeah, the actor's name. Like, yeah,
[00:06:18] that's how he feels about Ben Barnes. My brother is like, I can't even look at the man.
[00:06:22] I'm like, look at them. Anyways, so I finished you can't have it all this morning. And so I
[00:06:29] needed another audiobook. So I went back into Libro FM and they are releasing or this is being
[00:06:35] released. It's not being released just by Libro FM Jonathan Strange and Mr. It's either
[00:06:41] Norrell or Norrell. I don't know. I heard it in the audiobook. Could I tell you which one
[00:06:46] it is? I could not. I'm super early in but I was looking, you know, I've had it on my shelf for
[00:06:51] forever. It's got the coolest like most intriguing cover. So that's super chunk, right? It's
[00:06:57] super chunky. Super chunky. Super chunky. Someone described it as if Charles Dickens and
[00:07:04] Jane Austen got together to write a fantasy novel. I'm sorry.
[00:07:10] I was an English major for a while there. Give me that immediately. Actually, I guess I should
[00:07:19] point to my ear, put it in my ears. Not right now. So just very brief. I looked up a very brief
[00:07:26] synopsis because I didn't want to like spoil it. So I'm only in like chapter two. So it takes
[00:07:30] place in 1806 in England during like wars with Napoleon and magic has not been present
[00:07:36] in England for centuries. Like there's been no whisper of magic until it manifests in Mr. Norrell.
[00:07:43] Who is this really odd guy? He's like a quirky, the hot hermit type guy. Then he raises a ghost
[00:07:51] army of boats because England is at war with France. Okay. And so that's fun. That makes sense.
[00:07:57] Magic is here and you what then Jonathan Strange shows up and he's also got magic
[00:08:02] and there's suddenly two magicians with magic. You believe that magicians with magic?
[00:08:07] That's after thousands of years of no magic and they're like polar opposites.
[00:08:13] So I don't know if they like, I don't know if there's a romance aspect at all. I don't,
[00:08:17] I assume there's got to be at least hints of something, but is it a we love each other? Is
[00:08:22] it a we're mortal enemies? We work together. We work apart. We don't love his actions
[00:08:27] lately, but I'm just going to throw this out there. Part of it is narrated by Neil Gaiman,
[00:08:31] but the thing that was cool to me is V.E. Schwab did like an audio intro because that book like
[00:08:37] meant so much. I guess what she's saying? Oh my gosh, I love that. Yeah. So like there's like a whole
[00:08:44] little essay at the beginning that she read. I didn't pronounce her. She read like in her voice.
[00:08:50] I love that so much. That's so cool. This is so cool. So I'm going to be,
[00:08:56] that's going to be my own glass replacement. I don't, I haven't worked with him like
[00:08:59] to the point where I can't do audio books at work right now because it's been like,
[00:09:03] I've had to use my front brain, my whole brain. Yeah. Where I need like something mindless to do
[00:09:08] where, to listen to an audio book. So I listened to it like once I've dropped the twins off from
[00:09:12] school or if I'm cooking dinner and nobody's in the kitchen or whatever, that's my audio book
[00:09:17] time. So it's going to replace, it's going to try to replace throwing them. Nothing can replace
[00:09:23] nothing. So roughed. And then this is a weird one, but the twins and I watched a media Christmas.
[00:09:31] How random? Well, we have been doing, if we do movie nights, I would like go in and create a poll
[00:09:38] and like text it to the three of like the twins and Josh and like they would vote and then we
[00:09:43] would watch that movie. But I was cooking and so one of the twins sent me just a random list
[00:09:47] of stuff and one of them was like any media movie. This was like a media movie and she was like,
[00:09:52] well, a media Christmas. But fun fact when I was in the fifth grade, there was this little show on
[00:09:59] the Disney channel called So Weird. It was about a little girl who like investigated ghosts and all
[00:10:05] of that. I mean, whatever. And her mom was a rock star and they lived on a tour bus and there
[00:10:09] was a character named, what was his name on the show? Carrie? I think it was Carrie played
[00:10:14] by Eric Lively and I was obsessed with that man. And he's been a media Christmas.
[00:10:21] And apparently it's Blake Lively's brother. Oh my goodness. I was going to say that is that
[00:10:25] a Blake Lively relative? Yeah, it is actually nice. So anyways, every time they put in media,
[00:10:32] I'm like, oh my God, it's Eric Lively. I loved that man when I was 10 years old.
[00:10:40] That's great. Yeah, it's always a flashback when I see his face. I'm like, what in the
[00:10:44] good times? And I think that's all I did this week. I was kind of at a boring week.
[00:10:50] Yeah, that's fair. What did you do this week? I've been in this weird like, not a, I don't want
[00:10:57] to call it a reading slump because I have been reading, but I have to be reading smut.
[00:11:03] So I've been going through, listen, the social media targeted ads know me so well.
[00:11:08] They only send me KU smut books, which is great. Except for now I have like a folder full of
[00:11:17] screenshots of these books that I want to eventually read from KU. And so yeah, that's
[00:11:23] that's been a fun time. So I've been reading a lot of that. Could I tell you any of the plots?
[00:11:27] No, I could not. I don't feel like you have to if they're targeted ads on KU.
[00:11:31] Yeah. Enough said. I feel like, I feel like it's pretty clear. If you want to know more,
[00:11:36] just go check out my Goodreads. They're all listed there. So other than this month,
[00:11:41] I finished the Art of Being Ugly series by Kelly Vincent, which we've talked about. Obviously,
[00:11:46] I read Fantasma. I finished The Last Refuge, which I hadn't finished when we talked to Christina,
[00:11:50] and I finally did. And then I like messaged Christina and I'm like, Book Two, When?
[00:11:54] My inbox is open. Can I have it? So yeah, needless to say, I loved it. I read How to
[00:12:01] Piss Off Men by Cow Crew, which is so funny. It's so funny. I was like, my daughter was asleep,
[00:12:07] and I was like reading it and trying not to like laugh out loud because it's just like,
[00:12:11] it's so funny. And they're so random too. Like, yeah, I loved it. I don't know if I mentioned
[00:12:16] it on the podcast, but I started a book club at the beginning of the year because I just
[00:12:21] wanted to hang out with my friends because all my friends live in my phone. So I don't actually
[00:12:25] get to hang out with my friends. So if I forced them to read a book with me, then we get
[00:12:29] then I forced them to hang out with me once a month. But the problem is, I often forget that I
[00:12:35] have this book club. So it's nine o'clock in the day of it's like, oh no, it's 9pm the night before
[00:12:42] and I'm like, Oh yes, I have to read this book. And unfortunately for me, the book that we read
[00:12:48] was a Once Upon a Book Club book that I had. So I had to read it with my eyeballs and I
[00:12:52] couldn't listen to the audio so that I could get like the right spots. So fun times. But
[00:12:57] anyways, that's beside the point. We read Raiders of the Lost Heart by Joe Segura.
[00:13:01] We've got rival archaeologists who are at like this dig site to uncover or hoping to uncover
[00:13:09] like the greatest archaeological find of the decade century. I don't know. It's a big deal.
[00:13:17] Corey, who is our female main character, is an expert on this particular like person they're
[00:13:24] trying to dig up whose name is I don't want to try and pronounce it because I think I'm going to
[00:13:28] pronounce it wrong. But needless to say, there's this person and Corey once is like an expert on
[00:13:35] this person. And she also believes because she has been told by her grandfather that she is
[00:13:41] like a distant relative, like this is her ancestor. So not only is she an expert
[00:13:46] on this person, but also she believes that she's related to this person. So it's like a
[00:13:51] really big deal for her. And so when she's offered this opportunity, she's like, great,
[00:13:56] I'm so excited. I get to lead this dig to find this person that I'm like this my whole career
[00:14:01] has been about this person. And then the person's like, actually, you won't be the lead archaeologist.
[00:14:07] And she's just like, excuse me? Yeah, what do you mean expert here? I'm the expert turns out
[00:14:12] the lead archaeologist is her like nemesis from grad school. And his name where this is going
[00:14:19] his name, hold on. I had it written down. And then it was gone. I didn't have it written down.
[00:14:25] I had the Goodreads page pulled up. But then I navigated away for reasons unknown.
[00:14:31] I got it. I got it. Okay. So we've got her nemesis who his name is not listed a Ford. There it
[00:14:39] is. I'm like, where is it? Okay. So you've got Ford, who she went to graduate school with
[00:14:46] and they had like a moment, right? In the library. It was very cute. And then something happens. We
[00:14:53] don't know what, but the next day, maybe that weekend, she finds him sucking face with another
[00:15:00] person in their class. And she's like, Oh, I'm sorry, we're together. I'm sorry. What? So anyways,
[00:15:06] fast forward, it's like 10 years later, right? And so now she like hates this man. And he
[00:15:11] doesn't exactly hate her. But she thinks that he does. She's convinced that they're like enemies
[00:15:18] and rivals. And he's just kind of like, meh. Okay. We can fight if you want to attitude. And so
[00:15:26] he is the lead archaeologist on this dig. And he's calls in reinforcements to bring her
[00:15:34] onto this dig. They've been digging for like three months. And he calls in reinforcements
[00:15:38] because uh oh, we are at a standstill. We're not finding anything. We should probably get the expert
[00:15:45] in on this. And she's like, girl, this should be mine. But she can't help herself because
[00:15:51] this is her career. This person has been her career for how 10 years now. Yeah. And so
[00:15:59] basically the whole book is them like doing this dig and trying to uncover this person.
[00:16:06] And it's good. It's fine. But two things. One, if you're gonna have a title that plays off of Indiana
[00:16:14] Jones, I expect more action and adventure. And there isn't that throughout a majority of the
[00:16:22] book. It's like the lat it's like third act. And then there's like a little bit of action,
[00:16:27] maybe like a couple chapters, but then that's kind of it. And I know I would expect like somebody
[00:16:32] running on a giant cannonball and right, like action adventure. And like maybe that's just
[00:16:38] my personal perception of it because if you're reading the book, it is pretty on par with what
[00:16:44] you expect an actual archaeological dig to be like. Yeah. So like it's not wrong. It's just,
[00:16:50] I don't know the name is different. It's a choice. It's a choice. It's a choice. And then
[00:16:56] the other thing that kind of irritated me was Corey is so I just want to like shake her. Yeah,
[00:17:04] because it's like every other chapter she's like, I hate him. I want to bang him. I hate him. I
[00:17:08] want to bang him like girl, what's the lane make up your damn mind? It was a lane, my babe. And
[00:17:16] it was like you want it to be like this will they won't they tension but like from the beginning
[00:17:21] it's clear that they're going to. Yeah, like there's you know that it's gonna like even if it wasn't a
[00:17:28] romance novel where you know they're gonna get together in the end like you could tell that
[00:17:33] sooner or later they were about to bang and it's just like I need more tension.
[00:17:37] I mean, it was fine. It was yeah, you know, yeah, there needed to be more pining and there
[00:17:44] were like bits and like you could see a little bit of pining from Ford's side of it, but it was still
[00:17:51] also like gr I'm annoyed gr. Yeah, we're butting heads kind of thing and it's just like, and I also
[00:17:59] like figured out a lot of things that were gonna happen before they happened. Yeah, so it was good.
[00:18:06] It wasn't like it was well written and all of that it was just like I don't know for me it
[00:18:10] was a little bit predictable and annoying because I just quarreled just figured it out but yeah,
[00:18:18] but it is her debut so I'm hoping that like you know she's learning and growing and
[00:18:22] because that's that's what you do. So I will be reading the next book and we'll see how it goes.
[00:18:29] I'm excited for that. And that was pretty much all I read I the claims of fame finale
[00:18:36] has aired and I'm very upset about it. Oh, yeah, you told me that you it's so upsetting
[00:18:43] watching after you. Okay, yeah, so they they skipped a week because it was the DNC and it was on
[00:18:51] the six that's aired on the same chant or it's well DNC was aired everywhere. So but they
[00:18:57] skipped a week because of the DNC is so they did a two part or two hour EPS one night and it
[00:19:04] was like two part season finale. And so I hate to say it but Adam won and I'm very upset about this.
[00:19:12] Who's his relative? Michael Bolton. Oh, I don't know if you told me about this one.
[00:19:16] I don't know about that the relative. Yeah, I don't probably not because the so the final four
[00:19:21] was Shane, a HUD, Mackenzie and Adam and Shane was related to oh my gosh, I've totally
[00:19:30] my brain is shutting down. But yeah, it'll come to me later and Brando. Yes. Yes, that's pretty cool.
[00:19:38] Yeah. So Shane was related to Marlon Brando Mackenzie was Trace Adkins which we talked about
[00:19:44] HUD was John Cougar Mellon camp and then Adam was Michael Bolton and it was just case
[00:19:51] you're convinced that the show is completely rigged and is like because the entire season
[00:19:58] the entire season Adam had no idea of anything and somehow in the last episode he knew exactly
[00:20:06] who Mackenzie and HUD's relatives were. I don't believe it. Yeah, I don't believe it. Also as
[00:20:12] much as I hated the fact that Adam won because that man drove me batshit crazy. I was also
[00:20:18] really pissed at HUD and Mackenzie because the last challenge they basically handed it to him.
[00:20:25] They were so stupid, so stupid. So the last challenge was you had to go through like
[00:20:32] different sections or whatever and each part it was like each part I think it was seven
[00:20:38] so they had a pedestal with seven keyholes and you had to get a key and every time you flip
[00:20:44] the key it would unveil a part of like a billboard that was about each contestant and so whoever
[00:20:51] had the least amount revealed at the end would be the winner. So you would think that you're
[00:20:58] instead of going specifically after one person you would spread it out between your two competitors
[00:21:03] so that you can get them out quicker so that yours doesn't get revealed. So Mackenzie is going
[00:21:09] straight for HUD and then HUD was originally going for Adam but then he realized Mackenzie
[00:21:14] was going for him so he went for Mackenzie and Adam's just over here like lolly yagging
[00:21:19] he doesn't really have to do anything because they're going after each other and then Adam
[00:21:25] the craziest part was that like all the past contestants came back to be a part of each
[00:21:30] little mini challenge for them to get a key and everybody was on board. Nobody was going to help
[00:21:36] Adam because that's how irritating he was on the show. Nobody liked him but then
[00:21:43] he like did something stupid and cracked his head open and so they had to stop the game he had to
[00:21:49] like get wrapped in everything and he almost wasn't going to be allowed to finish but then
[00:21:55] they're like the bleeding control you just have to be careful if anything changes like
[00:21:59] stop everything and we'll come get you. And so because of that everybody was like feeling sorry
[00:22:04] for him so they started helping him and I was just like guys just don't forget our past.
[00:22:11] And then and then he had to go to the hospital because obviously it was bad but yeah I was just
[00:22:17] like I hate that he won but I also don't feel sorry for you guys for losing because you literally
[00:22:22] handed it to him. Yeah just on a platter. It was really annoying yeah. I had a super irritating.
[00:22:29] It was super irritating. I was not a fan of it at all so but yeah that was thanks. I appreciate it.
[00:22:38] That was pretty much my week or several weeks yeah it's just kind of what's been going on over here.
[00:22:49] Do you have a fictional boyfriend of the weeks? It's Blackwell.
[00:22:55] I don't know that I have an option to pick anybody but Blackwell from Phantasma truly
[00:23:01] because I just I mean I mean just read the book guys you'll get it. I'm trying.
[00:23:10] Trying. What about you?
[00:23:14] Erin I've been reading through it on a glass if I say anybody but and I'm at towards the end
[00:23:18] I've been reading the last if I say anybody but Lorcan Salvatair I am not me.
[00:23:25] The most powerful male in existence basically like death magic. Everyone quakes when he's around
[00:23:33] because he's so freaking powerful. He's like seven feet tall. Long black hair oh my god
[00:23:39] and my sweet baby Angela, Aiden Ash River because again don't come slander an Aiden at me
[00:23:46] because it will not go well because I will take you right to church. I'll take you to school.
[00:23:51] I'll take you to church. I'll take you wherever to put you in your place that we do not slander
[00:23:56] my baby Aiden. I'm telling you I get heated. You see somebody was like ranking my favorite
[00:24:04] thrown of glass characters and they had like a commentary and they called it they called him some
[00:24:08] ugly names and it was so hypocritical. It's people who criticize Aiden are so hypocritical.
[00:24:14] I just want to scream. I just want to scream that there is like this movement
[00:24:19] of hating Aiden. Are you kidding? Are you kidding? You've got to be kidding. Oh my god.
[00:24:24] Unreal. Unreal. She's thinking about it. She doesn't have any strong opinions about this guys.
[00:24:31] None at all. None at all. When you read it you're going to initially you're going to be like
[00:24:35] this guy is an asshole but then when you use your actual brain you're going to be like no
[00:24:39] wait a damn minute now. Hold on. Because if you take this and you take this and you flip
[00:24:44] I would do the same thing. That's a problem because that don't have a brain to use.
[00:24:49] I am going to need you to lend me the brain cell. I'll explain it to you.
[00:24:53] You need to lend me the brain cell. Yeah, I can do that. Okay. Okay. Appreciate it.
[00:25:00] That sound means we have an intruder alert. We've got an intruder's alert. It's very true
[00:25:12] and like it's very exciting. We have E.B. Asher for those of you don't know it's the pen name for
[00:25:18] Emily Waverly, Austin Seigman Broca and Bridget Morrissey. We're here to talk about this will be fun
[00:25:25] their debut as a writing group. We're so excited to have you all here. We're so excited to be
[00:25:30] here and you guys crushed it pronouncing all of our names so fast. We think it's going to be
[00:25:34] easy but you know you're going to be able to tell me. Listen I learned from last time.
[00:25:39] I learned from last time. I'm like I'm going to get it right now.
[00:25:42] All right, so you know how it goes. The first thing we ask is can you give us like an elevator pitch
[00:25:48] for the book? Yeah. So this will be fun is about a group of friends who saved their magical realm
[00:25:54] together and it absolutely ruined their lives and 10 years later they haven't spoken but they are
[00:26:00] forced to reunite on the road to a royal wedding where they maybe will end up on another quest
[00:26:04] to save the realm. That is so sweet. I love it because nobody really thinks about like what
[00:26:09] happened other than like random snippets. What happens to the Avengers like once the world is
[00:26:14] saved? Yes, exactly. And so I freaking love like we all brought some real world into
[00:26:21] Mithria. Is that how you all pronounce it? Yes. So we had what we call here in the south
[00:26:27] of your grandma's stories for the soap operas and we had texting and the the wagons for you killed
[00:26:35] me. I'm sorry. You really had a lot coming up with this. I was gonna say whose idea was that? Was
[00:26:42] that like a combination of everybody? How did all of these like real world parallels come into
[00:26:47] the story? Bridget can talk about her. Yeah, so I grew up watching soap operas like a huge
[00:26:54] true blue soap opera fan. So all of that was very much inspired and influenced by that. Like
[00:27:00] I used to be on soap opera message boards pretending I would be 12 and I was pretending
[00:27:07] to be my own mom and I would share my theories about each week or like each episode because it's
[00:27:14] daily but I didn't want people to know I was 12 so I'd be like my 12 year old daughter thinks
[00:27:19] that it could be possible that Barbara Ryan is going to kill him like I would be
[00:27:27] so much but I didn't want to be discredited for my age so I was catfishing just casually
[00:27:33] on the message board. That's amazing. Yeah, so that's where that came from but a lot of it
[00:27:41] like a lot of the other stuff we came up with together or they would like some stuff
[00:27:45] all that story of the on the message boards and we're like okay how can we get
[00:27:49] like a message board into the book because it's so fun like we just we were talking about
[00:27:54] our lives and then we'd be like I could go in. I love that so funny. I have to know as a fellow
[00:28:01] soap opera child what was your favorite? So I was the CBS soaps you know because it's like CBS
[00:28:08] ABC. So as the world turns was my absolute favorite like I used to record it on the VCR when I would
[00:28:16] go to school and come home and watch the tapes but I was so deep into it that I started to watch
[00:28:21] all like I watched all of them. I watched Young and the Restless, Golden and Beautiful,
[00:28:24] I watched All My Children like I got I never watched the NBC soaps so I should say I didn't
[00:28:30] watch all of them but I watched like the CBS and ABC soaps what about you what did you watch?
[00:28:34] All My Children was my fave. It was so ridiculous and I loved it so much. Yeah, I was enrolled in the
[00:28:42] beautiful kid and then my mother-in-law she was a Young and the Restless person so much so that
[00:28:49] like even to this day if my if my nieces or nephews see a photo of the guy who plays Victor
[00:28:55] they're like hold Victor he's up to something. He still looks amazing too. He looks the sick.
[00:29:02] He does. He doesn't age. I don't know what like what is in his water. Like well it's more like
[00:29:07] how is he ever a kid because he's been Victor Newman for like 40 years like he couldn't have
[00:29:12] ever been like just a child you know? That's fair. Yeah, I love that. Yeah, okay. So,
[00:29:19] wagon's for you though like I was honest to say. We kind of pushed each other yeah
[00:29:24] pushed you know each other in each chapter to come up with something say how can how can
[00:29:29] we slip a little bit of contemporary world in here and it kind of became a running piece of the
[00:29:33] world. We're very inspired by Shrek and you know like and like the part where they go and he gets
[00:29:41] like what is it called? What is the Little Amusement Park vibe called when you go you get
[00:29:45] the little show from yeah the more yeah the more this Shrek series leaned into that the
[00:29:52] funnier it was such that there was like there was like an American Idol takeoff. There was
[00:29:57] like yeah the mirror is like it's presenting a bachelor bachelor like all of these details and
[00:30:03] but as the series went on they did more and more of this and so we were like let's just
[00:30:06] let's put that directly into an adult version. Yeah, I just it's it's so funny because like
[00:30:13] until you said Shrek I didn't put it together but now that you said and I'm like the vibes.
[00:30:19] Oh my god. Shrek you're there. Like what we were trying to do there. That's exactly it. It's so good.
[00:30:25] Yeah we love that like kind of tone and that kind of humor just as as people and like not even just
[00:30:31] like as friends like that is very much the what we connect on just as like three friends and so
[00:30:37] when we were putting this book together we wanted to infuse it with those things that we find really
[00:30:42] funny and fun and so this was just like our playground basically. That is so good. How did
[00:30:47] you guys where where did the idea come up or where did the idea come from for this specific
[00:30:52] story and for the three of you to write it together. It's hard to even like really know because we're
[00:30:58] always like kicking around like silly stuff in a group chat. We've had a group chat for very long
[00:31:03] time. We all debuted in YA together in 2018 and we've like basically been friends since then
[00:31:09] and we've just kind of shared things that we're into like we love aliens and we love
[00:31:15] time travel and like those aren't part of this book maybe one day but like you know on
[00:31:21] this one I think that we started from an approach of like there are three of us like what is a good
[00:31:26] story that for three people to tell. Like we didn't want to write just a two-person romance
[00:31:32] because it would be strange. It would be like who would do it and so we wanted like what is a group
[00:31:38] that what is a story that demands to be written by three people so we knew what needed to be
[00:31:43] about three friends and then from there I think we were very inspired by the Jumanji franchise.
[00:31:48] I love it. I love Jumanji.
[00:31:52] You said a comp title game. Like one of our one of our favorite things to do like in connection with
[00:31:56] this story but also just not just just like any old time is playing the comp title game. You pick
[00:32:03] a movie and a book that couldn't be more different and say what would X meets Y look like
[00:32:10] and then come up with a plot around that and by the way we love to do this. I wish this was
[00:32:14] like a cards against humanity style board game. We could ever again do it.
[00:32:17] You need to make it one because that's actually a really good idea.
[00:32:20] We could all play it in an unofficial way and so thinking about people we meet on
[00:32:25] vacation meets Princess Bride was kind of where this started just picking two things
[00:32:30] that were the kinds of stories we wanted to write that we'd never seen put together.
[00:32:35] That is so fun. Yeah. It was fun guys.
[00:32:38] Yeah. So what is it like co-writing with more than one person because you don't see that very often.
[00:32:46] So like what is that like? Is it different and like what makes it special?
[00:32:50] Bridget this is Bridget's like we co-write all the time.
[00:32:54] Well also for me like actually I love group projects and growing up I used to make movies
[00:33:00] with my like all my best friends all the time and I love collaborating with people.
[00:33:05] I think it's so fun when people come together and bring their ideas and perspective to something
[00:33:10] and so for me it was just a blast and like there are just only upsides because I trust Emily and
[00:33:18] Austin so much. I respect them so much as writers and as people. So every idea that we throw out
[00:33:24] has like a built in council of people thinking like different perspectives, different ideas and
[00:33:29] different viewpoints and so it just feels like everything we create together is really sound
[00:33:35] from my perspective at least and also that it's just like magic kind of because I we're not
[00:33:41] each of us is not writing the whole book so the book grows without any like direct work.
[00:33:49] So that part is obviously amazing after writing many books alone that like a book could just
[00:33:56] sort of sprout overnight. Yeah that's so great I didn't even think about that aspect of it like
[00:34:02] how quickly it could come about like how how fast did you guys write this book? Fast it was fast
[00:34:08] I mean we take a long time outlining it because to write a book with three people it's like we
[00:34:13] really want to have a set idea of like what every scene is going to be and we break the whole
[00:34:18] story all together and that like we get on a FaceTime every weekend and it's like a two
[00:34:24] hour call and we get into like what the next scene is going to look like so that takes a long time
[00:34:31] because it takes however many weeks to get through the entire book but then when we are actually
[00:34:35] drafting it's just like scary how fast it comes together. Yeah because we're so prepared and again
[00:34:41] like I was saying you just have that built in editors and you know your co-authors too so it's
[00:34:46] like there's so many eyes on it to be like wait hold on that doesn't make sense or to also be like
[00:34:51] wait that's amazing we need to like do more of that and like run with something so it's just yeah
[00:34:56] it's it's fun as the title suggests. So where did the name Ebi Asher come from? That came from us first
[00:35:05] of all as we mentioned our names are long and they're prone to being misspelled all three of
[00:35:13] us so we knew if we used our real names it would take up over half of the cover like it would
[00:35:20] cover the gear and so we wanted something short succinct and also at the front of the alphabet
[00:35:25] because we're all like mid to back of the alphabet people. So it just kind of like came to me I was
[00:35:32] like what about Ebi Asher because Ebi Emily Bridget and then Asher A Austin and Asher itself
[00:35:39] doesn't have any significance other than you know how to spell it you know what it is.
[00:35:44] You know yeah so as somebody who is perpetually at the end of the alphabet I can appreciate this.
[00:35:52] We go into the bookstore we're like that front shelf we're gonna be on that front shelf.
[00:35:57] You don't have to go around the back of the shelf like books are quite a young brown like we are
[00:36:02] front and center and Emily and Austin they sometimes you don't know if they're gonna do
[00:36:07] last name. Oh yeah it's Emily like 80% of the time. Yeah you never know and there was some concern
[00:36:14] like when we went out to publishers with this we were like we just went out and we didn't like
[00:36:19] have the pen name but we were very open we were like we are willing to do the pen name
[00:36:23] and the oh and we got this offer from Avan they were like so there's come some concern that
[00:36:28] like it's gonna look like an anthology like yeah right. Yeah you're right it will look like that.
[00:36:34] Imagine a poor audiobook narrator.
[00:36:45] I've lost my question again Mandy. Oh this happened to me last week I'm really killing it right now guys.
[00:36:53] I take it none of you are panthers then if you if you all outline we are the like not only not we
[00:36:59] are the opposite of that where it's like we're like a tv writer's room everything has multiple
[00:37:04] iterations like we hammer every piece of the outline into place before we go. Which isn't to
[00:37:09] say like when we read each other's chapters there's plenty of surprises like it's not like it's just
[00:37:13] that the plot points are kind of figured out but it's a delight to like get in there and read
[00:37:19] like Bridget's chapter and it's like she's come up with like no you know the the tap message
[00:37:23] tapestries or something so then you can use it later. Oh cool great or like coming up with like
[00:37:28] a motif or just jokes that we don't like we plan some jokes we were like trying to make
[00:37:33] each other laugh while we're brainstorming but we can come up with more jokes independently and
[00:37:37] it's just such a treat to get in there and be surprised by those things. And I will say too
[00:37:42] like something really cool that we did that helped all of us with the world's building as we made
[00:37:46] an encyclopedia so like as we would go and if somebody invented something that we hadn't
[00:37:52] like previously vetted like you drop it in the encyclopedia under people or places and it's like
[00:37:58] okay now we all know when you reference the nightbiter plague or whatever it is like now okay this is
[00:38:05] what it is so it was kind of like our own little like guidebook too to work off of so yeah definitely
[00:38:10] everything is if things are not as planned we still like provide the information for each other
[00:38:16] so that we can all know what's going on. That probably is really fun though to like open
[00:38:21] I would never have worded it this way yeah yeah it's so fun. I love this idea of the encyclopedia
[00:38:27] like I never would have thought to have like something in one spot where you can all just
[00:38:33] reference it. It's show bible but yeah it's our first time it's all of our first time writing
[00:38:37] fantasy and so I think that like part of it is is fear that we're gonna like do something up
[00:38:42] and so we're like we better we better actually write this stuff down in case somebody
[00:38:46] is on it. And I hand drew a map for all of us like based on like where we had explained where
[00:38:52] everything is you know it's like just and I am visual in that way I love maps I like to like
[00:38:57] I like to see things and orient myself in like the space in that way so yeah I think it was
[00:39:02] for all of us a guide as much as it was like something fun to do. That is so fun that
[00:39:08] was so cool. So you talked about it a little bit like your writing process do you guys have
[00:39:12] like a how did that go? Like do you have like a shared document that you all go in every few days
[00:39:18] or what is that like? Yeah we have a Google doc and we have like an outline Google doc and that is
[00:39:24] like what is up when we're like doing our calls and breaking the story and then we also have
[00:39:28] a document for the manuscript and then like as chapters go in it's really fun because you
[00:39:33] go read the chapters like before what you're writing and you can like leave comments
[00:39:39] like edits or like just things that you love and it's like a little treat every time you get that
[00:39:44] little email notification that's like you've gotten a comment and the doc or whatever and
[00:39:49] you know that like you're and it's so helpful too because like sometimes you get into a spot and
[00:39:54] like somebody else comes up with the way to like solve a problem and so it's just a nice comment
[00:39:59] there that's like what if I said this instead and you're like brilliant yeah literally did
[00:40:05] you guys have to take like shifts so that you would like overwrite each other or like how does that
[00:40:10] how does like timing of writing work or did you write separately and then paste it into
[00:40:14] write the chapter separately and then dump them in one by one. Gotcha yeah so it's like we kind of
[00:40:19] each had a character that we're in charge of like I wrote eloan so it's like I'm dropping the
[00:40:24] eloan chapters in but then all three of us are in there reading through it and just like
[00:40:29] making sure that it all aligns or saying hey like this chapter actually needs to start here
[00:40:35] whatever like little just nitpicky things because you just kind of or the keeper of your character
[00:40:40] you're going this isn't what she's wearing actually because in my scene I say she's wearing
[00:40:44] this or whatever it's just like little things like that. Sometimes when you're like writing at the
[00:40:47] same time like you might end a chapter like Bridget said not in the place that the other
[00:40:52] chapter picked up and you're not really thinking about where the other chapter is
[00:40:55] going to pick up you're thinking about your chapter and so you'll get that if somebody
[00:40:59] pasted in ahead of you you read it you're like okay I could either change mine or if that
[00:41:04] makes my ending weird and weak I can ask and be like hey can you just add like one sentence to
[00:41:10] just explain how we got from point A to B because this is where we're going to end this chapter you
[00:41:14] know so it it was a constant collaboration of like back and forth and it's very iterative
[00:41:20] and by the time we get to the end like we have all edited every chapter several times.
[00:41:24] Multiple times and we're just constant communication like we when we're working on the book we are
[00:41:29] talking about the book constantly like even beyond the weekly face times it's just questions come up
[00:41:36] or stray thoughts like we're always just firing off like a you know just a comment or just like
[00:41:42] anything that has come to one of our minds into the group chat. Did that make revisions a lot easier
[00:41:48] since you had already gone through it so many times editing as you go? We had a really fantastic
[00:41:54] editor like truly so smart to the point where she would say things like she assumed that we were all
[00:42:01] like on that level and we'd be like yeah yeah that's what we meant to do that. Of course.
[00:42:13] So that was really cool for us all to like be like okay she really like gets this book and
[00:42:18] where we want to make sure that we rise to this level even more. I would say we had a really fast
[00:42:25] edits turnaround like but because of us we were able to do it. It's all easier you know yeah
[00:42:31] getting out of offer ideas and pitch in in the same way. Yeah and things in like the editorial
[00:42:37] process that when you receive an edit letter alone sometimes you can get stuck on something
[00:42:42] or just like not know how you're going to address a note and again it's like having the built-in
[00:42:48] council is just somebody else can see the solution faster or help you make peace with it or whatever
[00:42:55] it may be like it just everything moves at such a different pace. That's so cool. Okay I want to
[00:43:00] know like if you could give aspiring authors one piece of advice like for writing obviously what
[00:43:06] would each of you say? You guys want to start? The question is to actually finish projects. It's very
[00:43:15] like and there's like a couple of pieces of advice that are nested in that and one is that you will
[00:43:21] learn a great deal and you will produce a finished manuscript when you actually finish stuff but the
[00:43:26] other is not to get discouraged if the project feels a little bit less magical and a little
[00:43:31] bit less exhilarative and feels a little bit more like work everybody experiences that
[00:43:35] and it's easy to feel like if it's not this like incredible zealous creative experience anymore
[00:43:40] because you're like you know 50,000 words in and you're in the middle that doesn't mean it sucks
[00:43:45] it just means you're at the work part and you need to push through. Yeah and when it comes to
[00:43:49] collaboration like you're thinking of co-writing or writing a book with two of your friends like
[00:43:54] I would say make sure that you pick people that you have such a foundation of trust with
[00:43:59] that you one can like say no to them because you're gonna say no to ideas that is part of writing and
[00:44:06] you have to feel like when you say no or when someone says no to you you're not going to get your feelings
[00:44:10] hurt and that friendship is not going to be impacted and that like when you finish the work
[00:44:13] you can kind of just go back to your friendship and it's not like oh I'm so mad about that idea
[00:44:18] that didn't get approved. There's none of that here we're never like simmering in the background
[00:44:23] and also you have to trust that there are somebody who will deliver on time and that's
[00:44:28] we knew Bridget for years and like we've seen her work we write our books we love her books but we've
[00:44:35] also just talked to her and know that she is not someone who is like bestidious in the same way
[00:44:40] as well. She is bestidious but she's not someone who's just like blowing off important
[00:44:45] deadlines and stuff like y'all kind of had a similar way of approaching this. Yeah that's
[00:44:50] so true I think my piece of advice would be I know a lot of writers really fear critique or
[00:44:56] fear feedback and I would say that or they fear like if you receive it that you have to do every
[00:45:02] single thing that's told to you or that you know I'm sort of like Emily saying don't take it personally
[00:45:07] if you're working with someone or like from an editor but what I would say is something that's
[00:45:12] really beautiful about feedback is that when you disagree with a note you get it actually
[00:45:17] helps you sharpen your own perspective so that's valid too like you need that conversation to
[00:45:23] know your own feelings sometimes about your work and then on the other side of it sometimes someone
[00:45:29] else can open your eyes to something that you never would have thought of or see it in a way that
[00:45:34] hadn't occurred to you so I just know that like the farther I've gotten into the process the
[00:45:39] more I really rely on that because I am only me but then sometimes it's like wait actually I
[00:45:46] know you asking me this question has made me even more sure that I want to do it the way
[00:45:51] I originally intended so there's value in critique whether you agree or disagree with it so don't
[00:45:57] fear it I think is my piece of advice. That's good advice. Oh excellent. Taking all of that.
[00:46:05] Okay we don't want to keep you too long but we do have a couple questions that we ask all of our
[00:46:09] guests Emily and Austin you've heard this before but one of our segments on the podcast we call
[00:46:15] fictional boyfriend of the week where we pick a fictional character that we really loved that
[00:46:19] week it doesn't have to be a boyfriend I've had a fictional granny we've had fictional pets
[00:46:23] so just any fictional character that you're really diving with do you guys have anybody
[00:46:28] that you think everybody should meet? Yes fictional pet we just started playing Star Wars
[00:46:33] Outlaws. Oh yeah. He's great. Nick. Yeah sorry for the blunt answer. Honestly okay well this is like
[00:46:45] a little bit galaxy brain but Austin has inspired me we are huge Sims players and I am absolutely
[00:46:54] like 10 toes down obsessed with the Goth family and Bella Goth in particular so I think like everyone
[00:46:59] in the world needs to know Bella Goth's story like needs to just like understand what she's been
[00:47:05] through and play the Sims in any iteration because she's in every version of it so my fictional
[00:47:11] friend is Bella Goth. I love it. I literally during COVID bought a laptop just for the Sims
[00:47:19] because I was like my my current one's not gonna do. No I can't send it but it's heating up it's lighting on fire.
[00:47:28] We're huge Sims players. I don't actually play but I'm the biggest vicarious
[00:47:34] because I listen to these too. Yeah I just want like I don't ever actually really get into the
[00:47:41] family. I just want to build the house and decorate. Okay and that's fair well build Bella a beautiful
[00:47:46] I love it. All right our other question that we always like to ask is we know we love y'all's books
[00:47:55] and that we're gonna recommend them but what are y'all reading or like what are some of your
[00:47:59] favorite books? What would you recommend? I am reading right now um a book I don't know when
[00:48:04] this is gonna air but it's called The Book is the Lovers by Rebecca Fabian and it comes out
[00:48:08] September 24 I believe and so that is a fantastic sapphic tarot rom-com so definitely recommend.
[00:48:17] Both of our TBRs. Yeah it's great. We we have to shout out we also read a while back but
[00:48:23] we are very excited with the release and then to work with her on the launch. Jodi Picoz
[00:48:27] by any other name related this which is like means no recommendations like a Facebook and
[00:48:32] it's excellent it's a historically interwoven
[00:48:38] exploration into the Shakespearean authorship debate paired with the story of a contemporary
[00:48:42] young playwright and it's it's terrific. I mean it's just truly truly excellently written
[00:48:48] and you have a background in Shakespeare right? I do yes and it is like targeted for you.
[00:48:53] It was really a thrill to read yeah it was really cool awesome and that's high praise from
[00:48:57] someone who knows what they're talking about Shakespeare to say like this is actually
[00:49:02] so good awesome. I have one as well um this is YA I just read it it comes out next year actually
[00:49:09] I think so just be ready it's called Naves Foolproof Guide to Falling in Love by Jessica Lewis and
[00:49:15] it's just like the sweetest sapphic love story it's so funny and heartwarming and hilarious.
[00:49:22] The voice in it is so great I love when I pick up a book and the voice just
[00:49:26] jumps out at you from page one and that was my experience reading it I just was lucky enough
[00:49:31] to read it super early so definitely have that one on your YA lists. I love that I love the title
[00:49:38] like I'm sold just on the title yeah but the recommendation like uh that's so great okay
[00:49:44] so um before we let y'all go can you tell us what you're working on right now what comes out next
[00:49:49] I know Emily and Austin you guys just did was it a cover reveal? We did we have another adult
[00:49:55] romance book boyfriend coming out but if you're asking E.B. Asher we are working on something
[00:50:00] yay like E.B. Asher like through this hominet work I know we can't say but there will be more E.B. Asher
[00:50:06] very exciting we do want to know about like y'all's independent work too like do you have anything
[00:50:13] else yeah do you guys want we got a couple things on the bookers here so would you guys like to start
[00:50:20] yeah so our next rom-com adult romance book boyfriend which is about a girl who kind of it's
[00:50:25] kind of like Austin land meets like romantice so she goes to an immersive fantasy event and her
[00:50:33] colleague who doesn't read romantice and doesn't respect it is also there and he is trying to
[00:50:39] turn himself into the ultimate book boyfriend so it is very fun like yeah it was a blast right
[00:50:45] how do you know what I need oh my god okay well ready for that um I have my next adult
[00:50:55] romance is called anywhere you go it's coming out in April of 2025 and it's uh like the holiday but
[00:51:02] made super queer and not also not set during christmas time it's set during a summer family reunion
[00:51:10] but just sort of the energy of the holiday the house swap element and then just some of the
[00:51:15] like familial dynamics of like who each woman's love interest is it's definitely mirrored by that
[00:51:21] but just full of a lot of shenanigans really and that's for april and then in the fall I have a
[00:51:28] YA romance that's a witchy sapphic YA romance called everything she does is magic and that is about a
[00:51:36] witch and a mortal coming together to not fall in love and help each other out during the this
[00:51:45] little cute cozy witchy towns halloween festivities I can't wait for everything I can't wait yeah so
[00:51:53] this is the important part of the interview where I let y'all know that now that you have been on
[00:51:58] the podcast you're actually legally obligated to come back for all future book release as eb
[00:52:04] asher and individually yeah y'all did it yeah we couldn't quite squeeze y'all in for eris but
[00:52:12] like it's okay we'll keep you coming back we'll be back we're good yeah oh my gosh thank you all so
[00:52:19] much it was so much fun the pub date for this one did get pushed back to october 29th yeah is what I had
[00:52:27] so that means that you guys can pre-order it right now this will be fun look at like this cover
[00:52:33] it's so fun it's so fun it's perfect go pre-order it now um anywhere you get your books
[00:52:41] and then you'll have a present for yourself in october thank you guys so much for being here
[00:52:45] you guys so much fun so much fun we can't wait for the next time okay this was a blast thank you for
[00:52:52] having us yeah talk to you guys soon bye bye oh I love them all so much fun so much fun I know
[00:53:02] Emily and Austin are always such a good time and then I love meeting frigid oh my gosh yeah
[00:53:07] they're so fun I love like their energy together is like you can tell that they really respect and
[00:53:14] care about each other yeah and it's just like I love that I love that for them I love that for us like
[00:53:20] and I liked what Emily was saying about like they trust each other to be able to say like no or
[00:53:27] like I don't agree with knowing that their friendship is not going to suffer for it yeah
[00:53:32] absolutely we do that too yeah I was gonna say yeah we do you tell me no all the time
[00:53:39] you're like can we work entirely through the break and I'm like absolutely not can what do you think
[00:53:44] about this no Karen we're taking a break no you're gonna be thankful for this break when you take
[00:53:51] it it happens it truly it happens a lot and Mandy tells me no a lot because I am an eldest
[00:53:57] I am a workaholic I'm an eldest I'm an eldest daughter and I'm a parent I want to do all the things
[00:54:03] and it turns out I can't actually do that I have a book for you it's called you can't have it all
[00:54:09] but see shirt clerk full circle look at us look at what we've done oh my gosh this is so much fun
[00:54:20] we told you it would be fun guys uh-huh it's in the title it's in the title
[00:54:26] okay I think it's now her announcements we have um something super exciting you guys I'm gonna die
[00:54:35] and I don't have the either of the books in front of me it's okay but one of them I'm gonna
[00:54:39] freaking die okay so I know that we just did two double headers and we have uh had three authors
[00:54:45] on this episode but we are doing another double header next week and tell them why tell the people
[00:54:50] why well I did not think this would happen that I said it would happen that you know yeah we really
[00:54:58] want to piss off men we really want to piss off men guys okay because listen this we manifested
[00:55:06] this like so long ago like so long ago because we have Calpru and Dominic Lim coming to the
[00:55:13] podcast next week and let me tell you exactly what happened Mandy said we should try and get Calpru to
[00:55:20] come on the podcast and I said hey they come out on the same day wouldn't it be funny if we had Dominic
[00:55:26] Lim back on the podcast for karaoke queen on the same episode as Calpru because we'll have
[00:55:32] Kyle telling us how to piss off men and then we'll have a freaking drag queen to really piss
[00:55:38] off men and guess what we did guys guess what we did we did it I cannot believe my life I what is
[00:55:47] life what is letting down some of my zingers for how to piss off men but I encounter some men
[00:55:54] and in the world my god I'm like I got this let me write this let me shut this down this
[00:56:00] this is gonna be so I love this I'm so freaking excited I know excited it's gonna be so much fun
[00:56:08] you guys okay so next week Calpru and Dominic Lim it's gonna be so much fun just prepare because

[00:57:32] good merch I mean come on I had one of our new shirts on today but I got the wrong detergent
[00:57:38] by mistake and it smelled too chemical I had to take it off but I tried to model some of our
[00:57:44] merch today oh no that reminds me my daughter did laundry this past weekend and you know there's
[00:57:50] little downy beads that you like put in for extra freshness for extra freshness she accidentally
[00:57:56] dumped a whole bottle not like the whole bottle it was like it was like there was like this much
[00:58:02] left in the bottle and she just and I was like no this is this is too much even for me I started
[00:58:07] like scooping stuff out but my sister didn't notice and it was like my nephew was a little
[00:58:12] like newborn oh no and I was holding him and I was like choking because it was so strong and I was
[00:58:18] like what happened and she was like she thought she was helping oh she dumped like half the bottle
[00:58:23] in there and I didn't know she was like so we're just trying to cycle the clothes out I was like
[00:58:28] babies can't choke they it's like and like even just a little bit of that stuff is too strong
[00:58:35] so like to put extra was okay but one of my favorite hacks with those is to put them
[00:58:41] in the little muslin bags and then I put them like in my drawers because you know if you like
[00:58:45] like close it for so long they kind of just don't smell like anything yeah yeah but put them in
[00:58:50] the drawer so they can like keep things fresh but yeah I don't want to use a half a bottle in mine
[00:58:56] yeah oh and put them in under your trash bag in your trash can oh yeah and in your vacuum cleaner
[00:59:02] when you're not like vacuuming keep them in there when you vacuum it'll that's 11 air look at that
