Cade Monroe has been pining after Nora Whitfield for over a year ever since she drunkenly breezed into his life and unexpectedly kissed him. Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem to remember the kiss and he can’t seem to figure out how to be a normal person around her. Meanwhile, Nora is weighed down by the heartache of her past and isn't looking to get involved with anyone, especially her hot, scowly regular at the coffee shop she works at.

But when Cade finds himself searching for a new roommate, fate intervenes (in the form of meddling best friends) to push them together for a second chance at romance.

The sweetest little romance novella there ever could be! Not only is Lana able to pack tons of personality into the characters in such a short amount of time, but she builds that ever-growing tension of when will they finally figure it out? so perfectly. I found myself kicking my feet and giggling so often throughout and it was just the perfect small bite to enjoy in order to disassociate from the world a little bit.

Of course, I can’t talk about a Lana Ferguson book without shouting out her talent in writing spicy scenes. This story is a lot more sweet than spicy compared to other LF books, but I found that I didn’t even miss it as much as I expected to. But of course the little spice there was was spicing and paired with the expert narration was absolute chef’s kiss. The narration from Teddy Hamilton is just as pitch perfect as ever and Samantha Summers is moving her way up to the top of my list of favorite female narrators as well.

ROOM FOR TWO by Lana Ferguson is an audio-first novella and is available now wherever you get your audiobooks (and I’m personally crossing all my fingers for a print edition eventually because that cover needs to be displayed for sure!)
